Jet2 has introduced 34 new routes and more than 500,000 extra seats for winter 2026/27, making it the airline and operator’s biggest ever winter programme with 6.3m seats. The expansion includes a return to Egypt after 15 years with flights to Sharm el Sheikh and Hurghada, plus new services to Strasbourg for city breaks and Christmas markets. Capacity is up 8.7pc year on year across winter sun, city and ski destinations.
The airline launched its biggest-ever winter programme for the Winter 2026/27 season. The expansion represents an 8.7pc capacity increase, bringing the total seasonal offering to 6.3m seats across 42 destinations. A major highlight includes Jet2’s return to Egypt after a 15-year hiatus, alongside the addition of new destinations and the company’s first full winter operation out of London Gatwick Airport.
The expanded schedule targets four primary types of seasonal travel. Winter sun routes include Sharm el Sheikh, Hurghada, Agadir, La Palma and Funchal. Christmas markets and city breaks include Strasbourg, Gdansk, Copenhagen, Vienna, Cologne and Tallinn. Ski getaways include Grenoble, Turin, Geneva, Salzburg, Innsbruck and Chambéry.
