Celebration Key recently marked its first anniversary, having hosted almost 2.5m guests in its first year. With its second pier now open, the company projects guest numbers rising from 2.7m in 2026 to 3.5m in 2027. The company’s recently expanded destinations at RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay and Isla Tropicale in Roatan have each hosted approximately 250,000 guests. Combined, those destinations are expected to grow from 1.9m guests in 2026 to 2.8m in 2027, with seven brands calling.

Next year, 35pc of Carnival Cruise Line’s Caribbean capacity will feature itineraries calling at both Celebration Key and RelaxAway on the same cruise, pairing two very different beach experiences. Both destinations now have their full marine infrastructure built out, allowing the company to maximise throughput. Celebration Key had reached capacity on the land side in its current build, but the company had room to expand.
