Led by strong growth at Malpensa, where the airline is adding over 640,000 seats, a 27pc rise this winter, customers across the Lombardy region gain low fare connectivity on 125 routes, including 10 new winter services. The expansion is supported by the addition of two new Bergamo based aircraft, representing an incremental $200 million investment. Ryanair’s Milan based fleet grows to 33 aircraft with a total investment of $3.3 billion. The expanded operation continues to drive year round traffic and tourism while supporting over 16,200 local jobs across the Lombardy region.
