US online travel agency Travelwire has launched a new AI travel booking platform. The system uses four proprietary AI tools to search resorts and create personalised all inclusive packages. The launch coincides with the peak holiday booking period for the fourth quarter and covers destinations across North America, the Caribbean, Europe and beyond.
Travelwire.com operates an online booking engine for flights, cruises and hotel packages that automatically applies combinable offers. Dolphin Dynamics, which acquired Travelwire from Travelport, has been progressively integrating and modernising its product suite. The tech provider launched an AI helper tool integrated directly into its redesigned front-end platform. The tool eliminates manual rekeying by allowing travel managers and agents to copy and paste unstructured traveller data from emails, spreadsheets or documents directly into the system. The AI automatically interprets and maps that unstructured information into the appropriate structured customer profiles and booking fields.
Several other industry players have introduced conversational and agentic platforms. Meta’s Muse AI offers flight search, booking and change management directly via chat integrations with Duffel. Reservations Group launched a conversational voice and text app to discover, compare and complete hotel and transit bookings. Holibob introduced intention-based prompt matching for booking over 500,000 tours and activities. Navan Edge offers automated itinerary management and automated disruption handling for unmanaged business travellers.
