Airbus recorded 14 net new orders in September 2026 after factoring in contract adjustments and cancellations. The European aerospace corporation booked 17 new gross commitments during the month. This was sharply lower compared to previous periods following a major sales surge in July.

The entirety of September’s new order activity was concentrated in the A320neo family. This included 15 A320neos primarily booked by Air Cairo and two A321neos ordered by FlyOne Armenia. Neither the A330 nor the A350 platforms logged any new gross additions during September.

Airbus reached 1,105 net orders (1,174 gross orders) for the first nine months of 2026. The company maintains a strong lead over Boeing, holding a margin of 511 gross orders for the year. Deliveries rebounded with 72 commercial aircraft handed over to 37 customers in September, up from 57 in August. Cumulative 2026 deliveries climbed to 547 aircraft.
