Dingle in County Kerry has been ranked one of Europe’s top destinations for longevity living in new research from villa holiday specialists CV Villas. Dingle ranked 10th with a Longevity Score of 43.04 out of 100, making it one of only two non-Mediterranean destinations in the top 10.
CV Villas ranked almost 100 European destinations against six lifestyle principles from Dan Buettner’s Power 9 Blue Zone research. Destinations were scored on walkability, pace of life, plant-based dining, local wine culture and places to meet and belong.
Valletta in Malta is Europe’s top destination for a longevity lifestyle with a Longevity Score of 96.81 out of 100. Greece’s tiny island of Paxos ranks second with 73.68 out of 100. Malta has more top 20 entries than any other country.
