Delta Air Lines has revealed its next Delta One suite featuring an 83-inch bed, a 24-inch screen and closing doors. The suite was shown at a private media preview in New York. Delta plans to introduce the new service on transoceanic departures from Los Angeles this autumn and extend it across the network in early 2027.
The new suite will enter service aboard the upcoming Airbus A350-1000 after Delta begins taking delivery of the aircraft early next year. Delta’s A350-1000 will come equipped with 53 new Delta One suites with sliding privacy doors in a 1-2-1 reverse-herringbone configuration.
Delta will also extend enclosed suites to its 42 older A330-200s and A330-300s. The airline expects suites with sliding doors to account for 90pc of Delta One seats by 2030. Delta introduced a revised Delta One menu including a Wagyu burger, sea bass, braised lamb and short rib.
