Aviation Capital Group has finalised a firm order for 75 Airbus A320neo family aircraft, the largest single aircraft purchase in the lessor’s nearly 40-year history. Deliveries are scheduled between 2032 and 2035. The order brings ACG’s cumulative historical orders for the A320neo family to 190 aircraft.
The agreement includes built-in conversion rights allowing ACG to swap between A320neo and A321neo variants to match airline market demand. The A320neo family delivers at least 20pc fuel savings and CO2 reductions compared to previous-generation single-aisle aircraft. As of mid-2026 ACG managed 118 A320neo family aircraft within its active fleet.
The deal carries a total estimated list price of approximately $11.76bn though final discounted acquisition costs remain confidential. The order lifts ACG’s outstanding Airbus orderbook to 115 aircraft. ACG’s portfolio strategy is focused on new-technology narrowbody aircraft that are most in-demand with airlines globally.
Thomas Baker shared “ACG’s portfolio strategy is focused on new-technology narrowbody aircraft that are most in-demand with airlines globally. Placing the largest order in our nearly 40-year history is a statement of confidence in the long-term future of air travel.”
