British Airways is preparing to resume direct flights to Dubai after an eight-month suspension linked to regional tensions. The direct link between London Heathrow and Dubai is scheduled to restart on Tuesday, 3 November 2026. The operational pause began at the end of February 2026 due to regional conflict in the Middle East.
The service will initially operate as a single daily flight throughout the winter season. The outbound flight departs London Heathrow at 20:00, landing at Dubai International Airport at 07:45 the following morning. The return leg leaves Dubai at 10:00 and arrives back in London at 14:55.
British Airways plans to use Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner aircraft on the route, with one-way economy fares starting from £340. The airline intends to scale up to a double-daily service starting in the summer 2027 season. Amman services resume on 4 November 2026 on a four-times-weekly basis, Riyadh returns on 11 January 2027, Bahrain remains suspended until at least the end of March 2027 and Abu Dhabi has no return planned until winter 2027-2028.
