All-business class airline Beond is starting operations next month with its hub in Male, the capital of the Maldives.
Initially, the airline will offer flights from Munich, Riyadh, and Zurich to Velana International airport in Male. In March 2024, they plan to add services from Milan and Dubai to Male as well.
Beond will begin its flights with one Airbus A319 aircraft featuring 44 lay-flat seats. They plan to expand their fleet, with additional aircraft having more seats in a 2-2 configuration.
Beond aims to have 32 aircraft and connect 60 destinations within five years. They offer three booking classes with different amenities and baggage allowances.
