LOT Polish plans to expand fleet by 47pc and carry 64pc more passengers by 2028

LOT Polish Airlines says its strategy for 2024-28 will involve:

  • expanding its aircraft fleet to 110 from 75 today,
  • increasing passenger numbers to 16.9m from 10.3m today,
  • increasing service quality and passenger satisfaction. 

Lot plans to retrofit its fleet of Boeing 787-8 aircraft with new business, premium economy, and economy cabins, with new interior standards on wide-body aircraft and introducing Wi-Fi access on long-haul flights.
