W Hotels brand has returned to Sydney for the first time since 2007, with the opening of the 588-room W Sydney, offering views of Darling Harbour.

Located within The Ribbon, a mixed-use development, the hotel is the largest in the W hotel group. It features several F&B venues, including the BTWN restaurant, Living Room bar, and the two-level rooftop 29/30 bar.

Guests can enjoy amenities such as a 30-meter open-air infinity pool, AWAY Spa, FIT Gym, and 1,300 sqm of event space.

The design elements include a copper-clad entry inspired by Sydney’s disused railway tunnels and a blue circular bar referencing the Australian Bowerbird.

W Sydney is the brand’s triumphant return to the city and the third property in Australia after W Brisbane and W Melbourne.
