
A fifth of Irish holiday makers will have booked their 2024 holiday before December 31, according to a survey for the Dublin based travel agency ClickandGo, headed up by Paul Hackett.
A further 20pc plan to book in January, and another 20pc plan to book in either February or March and about 6pc plan to book closer to their departure date. There numbers will be augments by the third of respondents who say they have not yet thought about 2024. The survey examined responses from 1,814 individuals.
So far 11pc of holidaymakers have already booked their 2024 holiday, compared with7pc at the equivalent stage in 2022, citing reasons such as flexible payment options, low deposits, wider hotel availability, or finding a good deal.
