Ryanair has lost three cases in the High Court in Olomouc, Czech Republic against Online Travel Agency Kiwi.com.
The court ruled in favour of Kiwi.com earlier this week, protecting the privacy of its customers and acknowledging the use of industry-standard virtual email and credit card details.
Kiwi.com has now won the other two cases, highlighting the customers’ right to choose an intermediary to manage and pay for bookings on their behalf. The court also recognized Kiwi.com’s provision of this service, along with a clear and transparent pricing breakdown.
These rulings give Kiwi.com gaining legal recognition for its practices. “It will be curious to see Ryanair’s next move in their game of Monopoly,” Oliver Dlouhý CEO of Kiwi Com tweeted on X.
