Ireland’s visits to the USA are back to pre pandemic levels after a strong performance in September and October.
The rolling average of visitors form Ireland recorded by the US Ingernaitonal Trade Administration is 447,630.
The news came as Visit USA Ireland committee hosted a Thanksgiving eventing event for the Irish travel trade at the Odeon in Harcourt Street.
In August 2023, International Visitor Arrivals to the United States totalled 6,990,896, an Increase of 23.5pc compared to August 2022
US Citizen Outbound Travel Departures from the United States totaled 8,871,121 in August 2023, an Increase of 17.2pc Compared to August 2022
