‘Artificial Intelligence will boost productivity by 40pc for travel agents’ – Mark Kelly

Use of artificial intelligence could increase in productivity in travel by up to 40pc for travel agents, AI expert Mark Kelly told the annual conference of the Worldchoice group in Cork. 

The founder of AI Ireland and the AI Ireland awards told 140 delegates at the conference in the Radisson Blu Hotel in Little Island that travel would be one of the key areas where the advantages of Ai could be seen.

He said that Europe was following a path towards a risk based approach to regulation as against a regulatory system which would encourage innovation.

Mr Kelly was speaking in the aftermath of the removal of Sam Hartman from his position of CEO of ChatGPT in a development that raised questions about the evolution of AI.
