Simco Venture, newly estsablished in Dublin, is seeking planning permission to transform the vacant Phoenix Hotel in Kinnegad into a modern 24-bedroom establishment.
Their proposal involves replacing the previous nightclub with 11 ensuite bedrooms, which would include five triple ensuite rooms and six double or twin ensuite rooms on the ground floor.
Simco acquired the former hotel earlier this year and is now responding to the increasing demand for accommodation in and around Kinnegad.
The company aims to fulfill the growing and future demand for hotel bedrooms in Ireland, stating that their entrepreneurs have a long history in the trade and are utilizing their knowledge and skills to achieve their goals.
If the planning goes through and the project is completed, Simco expects to create 15 full-time jobs.
