Today is the deadline for the Travel Journalist of the Year Awards. Entires have to be submitted by Limelight Communications by 5pm.
There are ten categories for the awards, and each category winner will receive a substantial holiday prize. The overall winner will receive an additional holiday prize sponsored by the Spanish Tourism Office and Visit Valencia.
Entries are invited for work published or broadcast in 2023 in categories such as Best Home market, Best Northern Ireland, Best Long Haul, Best Short Haul, Best Sustainable, Best Adventure, Best Skiing, Best Digital Media, Best Broadcasting, and the Gerry O’Hare Memorial Award for Best Newcomer Journalist.
The winners be announced on January 26, 2024, at an evening reception sponsored by the Spanish Tourism Office (Ireland) and Visit Valencia.
The category sponsors include the Spanish Tourism Office (Ireland), Visit Valencia, Fáilte Ireland, Tourism Northern Ireland, Cassidy Travel, Sunway, Topflight, Andorra Turisme, UWalk.ie, ClickandGo, Malta Tourism, and TUI.
Entries can be submitted in print format (hard copy), broadcast format (digital files), or online format (with a URL link to the content) by the deadline of January 10, 2024.
