MSC Cruises has cancelled three “Grand Voyage” cruises from South Africa and the UAE to Europe due to the risk posed by attacks on merchant ships in the Red Sea.

The cancelled cruises include sailings onboard MSC Splendida, MSC Opera, and MSC Virtuosa.

The three ships will sail directly to Europe without passengers onboard, taking an alternative route around the west coast of Africa. Passengers have the option to transfer their booking to a future Grand Voyage, rebook to another cruise with a refund or price difference, or receive a full refund.
