FITUR 2024 has concluded its 44th edition with attendance figures cup 13.7pc to 250,000, including 153,000 professionals and 97,000 general public visitors.
The fair strengthened its global influence through the participation of 152 countries and 96 official representations, with 806 main exhibitors, 9 pavilions, 10 monographic sections for tourist segments. There were 6,800 accredited journalists at the fair, including 6,157 national and 607 international journalists from 53 countries, including Travel Extra.
FITUR 2025 is announced to take place from January 22 to 26, with Mexico as the Country Partner.
The event garnered significant institutional and sector support, with the presence of leaders such as the Spanish Royal Family, the Prime Minister of Spain, and representatives from various countries and regions.
