Rendez Vous 2024 in Toulouse first day ends with event at market place

Rendez Vous en France ended its first day with a celebratory event in the indoor market in Toulouse, Marche Victor Hugo.

This evening’s closing event takes place at Salle des Illustres au Capitole. 

Workshops commence yesterday with a media tour for visiting journalists, followed by an evening event at the indoor market, Marche Victor Hugo.

The event has attracted 836 attendees including tour operators, international press, and influencers, and over 26,000 appointments scheduled.

Atout France launched its €9m Explore France 2024 campaign at the fair in Toulouse.

The event kicks off what will be a significant year for French tourism, marked by events such as the Olympic and Paralympic Games, commemorations of the 80th anniversary of the Normandy landing, and the reopening of Notre-Dame-de-Paris, among others.

At a briefing, Caroline Leboucher, the General Director of Atout France, emphasised the importance of this year for France in both the events sector and tourism, presenting a fantastic opportunity for all French territories.
