Royal Caribbean International has cancelled cruises on the Brilliance of the Seas due to a technical issue impacting the vessel, which is completing a winter programme in Australia & the South Pacific
The affected sailings include an 11-night voyage to the South Pacific Islands that departed on March 19 and a five-night cruise to Tasmania that was scheduled for March 30
The Brilliance of the Seas experienced a technical issue on its last sailing, prompting the ship to return early for required maintenance that could not be completed in time for the March 30 sailing, leading to its cancellation
Passengers affected by the cancellations will receive a full refund, a 50 percent Future Cruise Credit (FCC) for use within one year, and reimbursement for non-refundable, pre-purchased travel fees incurred, with the ship scheduled for a trans-Pacific voyage to Hawaii on April 12, followed by a repositioning cruise to Canada before starting a summer program in Alaska.
