
The 2024 cruise season in Cork officially began with the arrival of the Ambition, operated by Ambassador Cruise Line, on its maiden voyage to Cork Harbour
A total of 103 cruise vessels are scheduled to visit the Port of Cork between April and November 2024, up 10pc on last year.
Bantry Bay Harbour also anticipates an increase in cruise ship visits, with 24 liners expected this year compared to nine last year
Cruise tourism is a significant economic driver, estimated to generate €17 million in revenue, while also bringing excitement, tourism, and increased footfall to the local area.
