Fincantieri shipyard hands over Queen Anne to Cunard cruise lines

The Queen Anne has officially joined Cunard’s fleet following a handover ceremony at the Fincantieri Marghera shipyard in Venice, as detailed in a press release.

The event was attended by various prominent figures, including representatives from Cunard and Fincantieri, as well as Italian government officials.

Cunard’s president expressed excitement over the addition of Queen Anne to the fleet, completing a quartet alongside Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth, and Queen Victoria.

The 3,000-passenger ship will embark on its maiden voyage to Lisbon from Southampton on May 3, followed by a Britain and Ireland voyage and a Naming Ceremony in Liverpool on June 3.
