The 224 room Slieve Russell Hotel in Ballyconnell has been put on sale by CBRE on behalf of liquidators of IBRC for a price of €35m.
The sale of the four-star hotel is anticipated to attract interest from both domestic and international buyers, with Ballyhaise businessman Sean Gallagher among those expected to bid.
The hotel has been under the control of receivers for IBRC since April 2011 and is a former business of Sean Quinn. It is managed by Tony Walker.
