Sligo Park Hotel has enhanced biodiversity on its grounds by installing a willow dome, bird and bat boxes, and a bug hotel.
The gardening contractors Ardcarne installed the new features with the aim of providing nesting sites for creatures and educating young guests about wildlife.
The hotel plans to introduce more measures to reduce its environmental impact in the future.
The new features are part of the hotel’s Fairy Trail, aimed at engaging children with nature and biodiversity.
