Royal Caribbean International’s Radiance of the Seas cruise departing from Vancouver faced a technical issue, resulting in a delay from the original departure date of April 26, 2024.
The ship is now scheduled to depart on April 28, 2024, with passengers onboard but unable to leave due to U.S. Customs and Border Protection restrictions.
The altered itinerary for the seven-night Alaska cruise includes visits to Icy Strait Point and Ketchikan, with a planned visit to Juneau cancelled due to the delayed departure.
Royal Caribbean International is compensating passengers for the changes with a refund of two days of cruise fare as onboard credit, a Future Cruise Credit (FCC), complimentary drinks for two days, and refunds for pre-paid shore excursions and drink packages.
