Smithwick’s Experience Kilkenny introduces a new 75-minute multi-sensory tour featuring a tasting masterclass, perfect pint pouring tutorial, and historical insights into the Smithwick family’s brewing legacy.
The experience runs as the last tour on Friday and Saturday evenings, and Thursday evenings from June, allowing guests ample time to enjoy the sensory aspects and engage deeply with the content.
Trialled successfully over winter, the tour has received exceptional feedback, enhancing visitor engagement and satisfaction, while traditional tours continue alongside this new offering.
Designed to boost Kilkenny’s nighttime economy, the immersive tour celebrates over 300 years of brewing history and appeals to both local and international visitors, featuring additional sensory-friendly tours and the vibrant Barrel Yard space for summer events.
