Munich Airport is constructing a new pier at Terminal 1, expected to be completed by the end of 2025
The €665m project will house non-Schengen carriers like AA, British Airways, Delta, Emirates, Turkish Airlines, and Qatar Airways
The 360-metre-long pier will have three passenger floors with various facilities and advanced security checkpoints
Munich Airport aims to offer high-quality services and facilities in the new pier, ensuring long-term development prospects and competitiveness for the airport. The airport has also advanced its net-zero emission target to 2035.
