Costa Cruises is introducing new family-friendly tours this summer in Western Mediterranean destinations like Savona, Genoa, Civitavecchia, Naples, and more, featuring a themed entertainment program for young guests.

The land-based experiences are designed for two age groups: kids aged 3 to 13 accompanied by family members and young guests aged 14 to 17, with activities curated by ‘Squok Club’ and ‘Teens Club’ animators.

The excursions aim to offer tailored experiences for families, connecting with onboard entertainment activities and providing themed itineraries for different age groups, enhancing the overall guest experience.

Youngest guests can enjoy activities like exploring Palermo with cooking classes, discovering Marseille through games, and hill visits in Genoa, while older guests have opportunities for solo experiences such as photographic tours, street art exploration in Marseille, and water sports in Cagliari under the supervision of Costa animators.

Giuseppe Carino, senior vice president of guest experience and onboard sales operations at Costa Cruises said “families are a key target group for our offer. In particular, the summer months and itineraries in the Western Mediterranean are among the most popular with families. Thanks to our new proposals, the excursions will become true experiences tailor-made for them, suitable for different age groups, which will have a strong connection with the entertainment activities on board, so as to create a themed itinerary that will accompany our youngest guests and their families throughout the day, providing unforgettable emotions.”
