Crystal has replaced planned Red Sea itineraries for the Crystal Symphony in late 2024 and early 2025 due to safety and security concerns, cancelling departures scheduled for November and December 2024 and January 2025.
Affected guests were given options to switch to other sailings in 2024 or 2025, with a 20 percent saving offered for 2024 cruises and a 15 percent discount for 2025 cruises, along with a promise to credit any price difference for the alternative voyage.
Passengers also had the choice to cancel and receive a full refund of the fare paid, with reimbursements promised for non-refundable expenses such as airfare fees, hotel costs, and other reasonable expenses.
Instead of the Red Sea, Crystal is now offering new voyages to the Western Mediterranean, Africa, and the Indian Ocean between November 2024 and January 2025, with sailings planned from Barcelona to Singapore.
