Conrad Hotel Dublin reported to a 14.5pc increase in revenues, boosted by the stay at the hotel of US President Joe Biden.

Despite the revenue increase, pre-tax profits decreased by 18pc to €2.42m (post tax €1.84m) due to factors such as higher wage growth and supplier pricing.

The company’s results improved in 2023 with increased occupancy and higher room rates.

The company’s projections for 2024 indicate limited growth in room rates but a slight increase in occupancy.

Numbers employed increased from 175 to 179 as staff costs rose from €6.04m to €7.18m.

The hotel was sold to Dutch-based hotel investor Archer Hotel Capital for a reported €118m in 2019.
