Pillo Hotel in Meath plans to extend its near 150 bedroom facility in Ashbourne by adding eight bedrooms across its second to fifth floors.
The extension is aimed to better utilize existing floor space, with the proposal involving the construction of two new bedrooms per floor.
The new bedrooms will have full-height glazing looking westward through the atrium, with mechanical ventilation and air conditioning.
A decision on the plans is expected to be made by September 8 after a separate fire safety certification application is completed.
