Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Seas now features a new nine-hole miniature golf course called “Lost Dunes” as part of the Thrill Island entertainment area, designed by Adventure Golf & Sports (AGS).
Located on Deck 16, the course is themed around a post-hurricane deserted island and includes interactive elements on each hole to enhance player engagement.
The project was a collaboration between Royal Caribbean International’s Group and AGS, focusing on creating a revolutionary mini-golf course that offers an engaging and dynamic design.
The course includes themed elements like a life-sized ship stern and bow, a large plane wing, a broken submarine, and rock walls, with the course built using the AGS Custom Modular System and featuring fibre optic lighting to create what the group calls a visually stunning and immersive environment.
