Carnival Cruise Line, Norwegian Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean International are among the cruise lines that have changed itineraries in anticipation of Hurricane Ernesto in the Caribbean.

  • Carnival Magic skipped a stop in San Juan and added an extra stop in Nassau, Bahamas on its Eastern Caribbean cruise itinerary.
  • Carnival Pride changed its Bermuda cruise itinerary due to Hurricane Ernesto, arriving in Bermuda one day early and departing one day late.
  • Icon of the Seas adjusted its Eastern Caribbean itinerary to the Western Caribbean, with stops in Cozumel, Costa Maya, and Roatan.
  • Norwegian Joy arrived in Bermuda one day ahead of schedule and will depart a day earlier than planned.
  • Norwegian Sky and Norwegian Breakaway ships rerouted their Eastern Caribbean cruises to the Western Caribbean, including stops in Roatan (Honduras), Costa Maya and Cozumel (Mexico), as well as Harvest Caye (Belize).
  • Rhapsody of the Seas altered the order of planned stops on its Southern Caribbean cruise itinerary, but no ports were cancelled.
  • Symphony of the Seas will visit Nassau instead of Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic on its Eastern Caribbean cruise from Bayonne, New Jersey.
