Irish Continental Group is expected to report its first-half results, with a rise in profit before tax from €62.5m to €63.3m, driven by increased demand in the ferries division while facing challenges in the container division due to weak import and export levels in China and supply chain issues.

Datalex, an Irish airline software specialist, will provide an update on the first half of the year, having recorded total revenue of $28.9m (€26.06m) last year, marking a 23pc increase from the previous year. The company focuses on streamlining retail offerings for passengers.

The Central Statistics Office (CSO) will publish an update on inbound tourism for July, offering insights into the latest trends in tourism, as well as releasing the newest edition of the retail sales index, providing valuable information on consumer spending patterns.
