Ronnie Counihan and Adeline Bennett are revitalizing the Skål Club of Galway, which promotes global Tourism and Friendship across the industry through a network of over 300 clubs worldwide.
Founded in 1966, the Skål Club of Galway has fostered lifelong friendships and professional relationships within the local tourism community but has lost members in recent years.
The goal is to create an active club that facilitates gatherings five to six times a year for social lunches or dinners, allowing members to connect, share industry updates, and discuss common challenges.
The next Skål lunch is scheduled for September 16th at Glenlo Abbey & Estate, with a €45 cost per person. Non-members are also invited, with hopes of attracting new members for 2025.
