Riviera River Cruises will now provide full commission to travel agents for bookings cancelled within 15 days of departure, even though clients will forfeit 100pc of their booking cost during this period.
This policy change ensures that travel advisors will not lose their commission when clients cancel right before their cruise, enhancing the partnership dynamic between Riviera and travel agents.
Marilyn Conroy, EVP of sales and marketing for North America, emphasized Riviera’s commitment to supporting travel advisors through various incentives, including bonus commissions and gift cards.
The company has also partnered with Tourcrafters, a subsidiary of Auto Europe, to assist advisors in arranging flights and hotels for clients traveling from North America, further strengthening the support available to travel agents.
