Cruise lines are altering itineraries in response to Hurricane Helene’s anticipated impact on the Gulf of Mexico, with alerts indicating it may reach major hurricane intensity before landfall in Florida.

Carnival Cruise Line has adjusted the schedules for five ships, including the Carnival Paradise and Carnival Valor, which have cancelled upcoming calls to Cozumel, while the Carnival Breeze has also cancelled visits to Grand Cayman.

Royal Caribbean International is rerouting at least five ships, including the Wonder of the Seas and the Serenade of the Seas, which will now sail to alternative Eastern Caribbean destinations instead of the Western Caribbean.
