Carnival Corporation CEO Josh Weinstein announced that the company’s limited orderbook is expected to create demand that exceeds available capacity, which Weinstein believes will drive higher pricing for cruise bookings.

Carnival will introduce just three new ships over the next four years, with deliveries scheduled for 2025, 2027, and 2028.

The newbuilds include the Star Princess in 2025, followed by additional Carnival Cruise Line ships in 2027 and 2028, with no new deliveries planned for 2026.

Weinstein confirmed that future newbuilds, referred to as Project Ace, will not commence until 2029, allowing the company to focus on cash flow improvements and debt reduction with lower capital expenditures.
