The 140-guest vessel, built in 2021, will replace the older Ocean Adventurer and offers a four-month expedition program in Antarctica, featuring stops including the Falkland Islands and South Georgia.

Ocean Explorer is part of SunStone’s Infinity class and boasts upscale amenities such as a swimming pool, two restaurants, a spa, and a two-story lounge, enhancing the cruising experience in remote regions.

After its Antarctic season, the ship will reposition to the Arctic in May for summer itineraries in Svalbard, Iceland, and Greenland, having previously been laid up after its original service with Vantage Deluxe World Travel.
