The arrival of the Sun Princess at its new homeport in Port Everglades has been delayed by Hurricane Milton, now expected on October 11, 2024, two days later than initially scheduled.

The U.S. Coast Guard has restricted ship access to South Florida ports due to the storm, with no specific date for reopening provided, requiring the ship to remain safely at sea.

To assist guests with post-cruise travel, Princess Cruises is offering complimentary internet access onboard, allowing them to stay connected and manage changes to their travel plans.

The Sun Princess, which embarked on a 16-night trans-Atlantic crossing from Southampton, features a variety of destinations in its original itinerary and is scheduled for a winter in the Caribbean following its inaugural Mediterranean season.
