Holland America Line will host the Alaska Cruise and Travel Show in San Diego on November 9, 2024, at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina, providing a free expo to explore Alaska cruise vacations and experiences.

This event marks the first Alaska travel expo in San Diego, previously held in Seattle, Vancouver, and Phoenix, offering attendees opportunities to meet Alaska experts, sample local dishes, and engage in activities like gold panning and axe throwing.

Attendees will have a chance to win prizes, including six $500 gift cards and a grand prize of a Holland America Line Alaska cruise for two, along with special offers for those who book cruises during the event.

The expo will feature demonstrations from Alaska experts, including cooking shows by Holland America chefs and wildlife watching tips, while showcasing future itineraries for 2025 with six ships operating in Alaska. Highlights include:

  • Gold panning at the Gold Dredge 8 booth. 
  • Cooking demonstrations featuring authentic Alaskan dishes by Holland America Line chefs. 
  • Wildlife watching tips from a Holland America Line expert. 
  • Live music at Denali Square, the cruise line’s exclusive venue. 
  • Presentations on the Alaska shipboard experience, including Glacier Day programming, dining, and entertainment. 
  • Opportunities to meet local exhibitors from top Alaska attractions.
