Fincantieri and Regent Seven Seas Cruises celebrated the steel-cutting ceremony for the new luxury cruise ship, Seven Seas Prestige, in Marghera, Italy, marking the beginning of its construction for delivery in 2026.

The Seven Seas Prestige will be the first vessel in a new Prestige Class series, accommodating up to 850 guests in 434 suites and boasting one of the highest guest-to-space ratios in the industry, followed by a sister ship scheduled for 2029.

The ship is designed to embody sophistication and refinement, incorporating advanced environmental technologies, new accommodation categories, and innovative dining experiences aimed at luxury travelers.

This initiative is part of an eight-ship order announced by Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, which also includes vessels for Norwegian Cruise Line and Oceania Cruises, with deliveries planned through 2036, significantly expanding the fleet by nearly 25,000 berths.
