Stena Line has crowned a four-year-old Labrador named Kea as its first Ferry Pawmother, celebrating the ferry company’s pet-friendly services, which have facilitated over 87,500 pet crossings on the Irish Sea this year.

The competition included over 4,000 pets, highlighting Stena Line’s commitment to enhancing the travel experience with 70 animal-friendly cabins and pet lounges on its fleet.

Guests can prebook the Pet Lounge from £20 per pet or, where applicable, a pet-friendly cabin from £55 per cabin (maximum two pets per booking).

Kea, who has been a blood donor for critically ill dogs and a teaching dog at the Royal Veterinary College, enjoys traveling with her owner, Serena, who appreciates the convenience and pet-friendly nature of the Stena Line service.
