
Samuel Maubanc has been appointed as the Director General of the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) in Europe, based in Brussels, where he will advocate for member cruise lines and promote sustainable policies.
With nearly two decades of experience in EU policy and public affairs, Maubanc’s focus includes advancing decarbonization efforts and ensuring the availability of sustainable fuels in the transportation sector.
CLIA President Kelly Craighead shared: “Maubanc’s leadership will enhance the cruise industry’s sustainability agenda and strengthen policy positions for member success.“
Before joining CLIA, Maubanc led EU Affairs at Neste, influencing policy on renewable energy and was previously the General Manager for Liquid Gas Europe, showcasing his extensive background in sustainable energy pathways.
