The new Disney Treasure has docked at its homeport of Port Canaveral for the first time, marking a significant milestone for Disney Cruise Line.
After its initial visit to Florida, the ship will head to New York City for a special naming celebration on November 19, which will be streamed live on the Disney Parks Blog.
Disney Cruise Line is launching “Treasure Tomorrow,” an initiative aimed at making positive impacts in port communities, focusing on career exploration programs in partnership with the Brevard Schools Foundation to inspire local students.
The Disney Treasure is scheduled to begin its maiden voyage on December 21, 2023, with a seven-night Eastern Caribbean cruise, followed by a series of similar itineraries to both the Eastern and Western Caribbean from Port Canaveral.
