Exploris Expeditions & Cruises has announced plans to develop two new expedition cruise ships designed for exploration, focusing on environmental sustainability and high-performance standards.
The new ships will accommodate a maximum of 98 guests and will be served by a crew of 62, emphasizing a high-quality experience for travellers through smaller group sizes on board and during excursions.
Built to Polar Class 6 standards, the new vessels will have advanced features including nine zodiacs each, allowing for diverse exploration experiences, with plans to register them under the French flag.
Following the successful debut of the Exploris One, launched in December 2023, the new builds signify the company’s commitment to expanding its fleet dedicated to ecologically responsible and immersive travel experiences.
