The fourth annual World Cruise Awards Gala Ceremony took place in Funchal, Madeira, recognising top cruise brands based on a year-long search involving votes from industry professionals and the public.
The unique voting system weights industry professionals’ votes: who have a weighting of five those of random cruisers.
The awards celebrate brands that exemplify excellence in the cruise industry, according to World Cruise Awards Director Chris Frost.
This event is a sister to the World Travel Awards, established in 1994, which honours excellence in global travel and tourism.
