Technical issues delay Isle of Innisfree departure from Fishguard to Dublin

Irish Ferries issued an apology for delays in ferry services caused by technical issues during departures from Fishguard to Dublin.

The closure of Holyhead port due to Storm Darragh has led to extensive travel and delivery disruptions between Ireland and the UK, especially during the holiday season.

Air freight capacity is being secured by the postal service to manage the backlog of parcels and ensure timely deliveries.

Discussions are ongoing between Welsh and Irish authorities to address the impacts of the port closure and to seek alternative solutions for maintaining supply chains.
